Watercolor Self-portraits

This is a 10-frame animation, cycled three times.

Each frame was painted in watercolor over a period of two weeks. Final project was a visual representation of how I felt during that time period, as well as a project based on mental maps.

I drew two different drawings of myself in the same pose.  I then used a light box to trace my pencil marks.  After I had enough pages drawn, the pencil marks were erased so only faint images of the original lines remained.  These served as my base for each frame.

The colors and the themes were decided each day I painted a portrait, with the only restriction being to start and finish my animation with a grey-scale portrait.
